Thursday, May 18, 04:00 » Wednesday, July 19, 16:00This 20-week program is designed for any laboratory animal science professional wishing to prepare for the Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) certification examination offered by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS).
Learners will participate in weekly live virtual classes conducted by the Charles River - Campus Learning (US). Outside of class/lecture sessions, on-line learning and quizzing will assess and reinforce knowledge required for the exam. Students will also have the option to review recordings of the live sessions on-demand and/or in the event they are unable to join a live session.
The program will follow content outlined in the most recent edition of the AALAS LATG Training Manual, Student Workbook and Regulatory Workbook. Lessons will progress by chapter and unit. Unit assessments will be assigned to test interim knowledge levels and each student will attempt a mock examination to complete the program.
