[Registration Open] 2016 Leadership 101 Program

The Leadership 101: Charting Your Course to Management program is a two-day classroom based development event for the new and inexperienced team leader, supervisor, or manager.

Development of future supervisors and managers is a fundamental goal for all successful organizations.  To ensure Charles River meets its leadership challenges now and in the future, the Leadership 101 Program serves as the first tier of learning for employees.  The target audience for this program are front line leaders/supervisors/managers who have a limited understanding of the regulations and competencies successful leaders require including

  • Employment Law: Your Responsibilities
  • Legal Issues in Hiring
  • Management Communications
  • Principles of Difficult Conversations
  • Progressive Discipline Procedures
  • Team Building for Leaders
  • Time Management for Leaders
  • Writing Effective Performance Appraisals

The program this year will take place at the Charles River PAI/IS facility located at 15 Worman's Mill Court, Suit I, Frederick, MD 21701 (US).  Class begins at 0800 hours on Wednesday, 21SEP2016 and concludes at 16:30 hours on Thursday, 22SEP2016.

Learners or their management team are responsible for coordinating travel and lodging reservations and charges.  Additional program information will be communicated upon registration confirmation.  We will provide a light breakfast and lunch both days for all participants.  Students are expected to attend all sessions to receive full program credit.
