The purpose of this mock exam is to gauge your current knowledge required and level of readiness to achieve certification at the laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) level.  Please review the instructions below and prior to starting the exam.

• This exam covers information found in AALAS LAT & ALAT manual and within the LAT Preparatory Course.
• The exam consists of 155 multiple choices questions.
• Each question has only one correct answer.  Select the best choice from all answers.
• To pass the exam you must achieve a minimum score of 80%.
• You may take the exam as many times as you like to improve your score.
• Only your highest score is recorded.
