What is a Learning Plan?

Answer:

Learning plans allow quick and targeted access to relevant learning content. This permits individualized and custom learning and development needs using elearning and seminar activities.

Learning plans can be created by you or your manager. There is an approval process that your manager my complete to activate a learning plan.

You can access your Learning Plans from you My Learning menu at the top of your screen.


Question:

What is Evidence or Other Evidence of Learning?

Answer:

Evidence are training documents created by learning events and activities outside of Campus which can be stored in the system and linked to related training.

You can access your Evidence Bank by selecting the My Learning menu and open the Evidence Bank link in the left side panel.

Where can I find my training records?

Answer:

Training records can be found in your Record of Learning display. Your Record of Learning display is accessed from the My Learning menu located at the top of your screen.

How can I download/export training records or report data?

Answer:

Your Record of Learning, Dashboard and other accessible reports can be downloaded and exported  by using the Export As feature located at the bottom of the display/report screen.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the format of the export file you desire.  Options for the type of file are noted below.

  • CSV = Comma Separated Value
  • XLS = Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet
  • PDF = Portable Document File
    • You will have two orientation options; 1) Portrait) and 2) Landscape

What applications, browsers and internet connection settings are needed?

Answer:

It is always recommended that you run the latest supported version of software as this will offer the best performance alongside security and stability. The lists below show minimum requirements and settings.


Apps and Plugins Settings

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (latest stable release)
  • Java (latest stable release)

Internet Browsers

  • JavaScript must be enabled
  • Pop-up Blockers should be disabled (fully or temporarily)
Supported Desktop Browsers

  • Chrome: The latest stable release
  • Firefox: The latest stable release
  • Microsoft Chromium Edge: The latest stable release
  • Microsoft Edge: Versions 16 to 18
  • Safari: Version 11.3 or greater
  • Internet Explorer: Version 11 only

Supported Mobile/Tablet Devices

  • iOS Safari (version 12 or higher)
  • Android (version 5.0 or higher)

Internet Connection

  • Minimum bandwidth: 256 kbps
  • If using video or audio: 512 kbps

Note: Internet connection bandwidth will impact loading and performance for media and elearning activities.

What is Course or Program Progress?

Answer:

Progress in courses and program refers to the amount or number of activities completed of the whole assignment.  Progress is normally expressed as a percent.

  • 0% indicates you have not started the course or program
  • 1% to 99% indicates some activities have been completed
  • 100% indicates completion of the course or program

Course and Program progress will be visible in the following displays:

  • Find Learning (Catalog)
  • Learner Dashboard
  • Record of Learning
  • Reports containing Course and Program completion data
