About the LATG Prep Program Unit One
This 9-week program is designed for any laboratory animal science professional wishing to prepare for the Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) certification examination offered by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). This is a self-study program and all chapter seminars are pre-recorded and on-demand within the program.
The program will follow content outlined in the most recent edition of the AALAS LATG Training Manual, Student Workbook and Regulatory Workbook. Lessons will progress by chapter and unit. Unit assessment will be assigned to test interim knowledge levels and each student will attempt a mock examination to complete the program.
