The Animal Care Technician (Core) Knowledge program provides general information on environmental standards, animal husbandry, animal procurement and receipt, animal restraint and handling, behavior and enrichment , and introduces euthanasia and euthanasia with carbon dioxide.  Content is focused on small animal facilities and is an introduction to working within a laboratory animal facility.

Clincal Signs of Rodent and Rabbits Handbook Cover (Full)This program consists of ten (10) individual courses outlining sections of the Handbook of Clinical Signs in Rodents and Rabbits.  The purpose of this program is to introduce to the Laboratory Animal Science professional how to properly observe and report clinical signs and symptoms in an accurate and consistent manner.  The program requires completion in order of the sections are outlined in the handbook.

Learners are encouraged to obtain a copy of the handbook to reference during completion of this program and afterwards as a desk/laboratory reference.
