Quick Quizzes & Final Assessment for PIL A Modules

This is an assessment to test your knowledge of the PIL A (Chicken) module learning outcomes.

The assessment is taken under EXAM conditions and is CLOSED BOOK - No reference books, notes or other materials may be used. 

You may not receive assistance from other persons whilst taking the assessment. 

Cheating will result in a ‘failed’ assessment. 

A simple translation dictionary may be used with permission from the invigilator (not web search or google) 

The exam MUST be invigilated by Charles River IS or your NTCO or suitable NTCO nominated person (e.g. your NACWO or a Registered Animal Technologist).

To enter and unlock this exam will require the password key (the password will be provided by your invigilator on the date and time of your assessment). 

The assessment consists of 15 questions. 

You have 25 minutes to complete the assessment.

A minimum score of 70% is required to pass

1 attempt only (a further retake attempt possible after 5 workdays - if you attain between 50% - 69.9%)

Questions types may include the following formats:

  • True or False or multiple True or False
  • Multiple Choice
  • Matching Definition
  • Fill in the Blank (drag and drop or a drop-down list to choose from)
  • Part completed questions and part correct questions are credited part marks.
  • Zero marks for non-answered or incorrectly answered questions or part questions.
  • No negative marking.

NOTE:  This module quiz is pass or fail.

After submitting an attempt, immediate feedback will be displayed.

If you gain 70% or greater on your 1st attempt there is no need to attempt again.

If you gain 69% or less (fail) you may attempt the quiz a total of 3 times.


After a 3rd attempt - access to the quiz will be closed - you will need to request an extension from the program manager/NTCO.
