In this course:
LAS industry workers will follow and practice with a corporate instructor to review,
practice, and master mathematical concepts required for the ALAT certification exam.
Objectives:
1) Differentiate between units of measurement used in the metric system and US system of measurements.
2) Convert mathematical units between metric and US system of measurements.
3) Calculate temperature conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
4). Define acids, bases, & pH.
5). Calculate dilution ratios in mathematical problems.
The purpose of this mock exam is to gauge your current knowledge required and level of readiness to achieve certification at the ALAT level. Please review the instructions below and prior to starting the exam.
- This exam covers information found in AALAS ALAT manual and within the ALAT Preparatory Course.
- The exam consists of 120 multiple choices questions.
- Each question has only one correct answer. Select the best choice from all answers.
- To pass the exam you must achieve a minimum score of 70%.
- You may take the exam as many times as you like to improve your score.
- Only your highest score is recorded.
- The examination is timed. You have 120 minutes (2 Hours) to answer as many questions as possible.
