This course will take you through the concept of CRISPR/CAS9 genome editing. It will start with an overview of the CRISPR/CAS9 technology and its basic principles, the next section will focus on what is needed to get started with an assay. Following this there will be a discussion on assay development and requirements to optimise a CRISPR/CAS9 assay. Finally there is a short discussion on why you should choose CRIPSR/CAS9 genome editing, taking you through some of the main advantages and disadvantages of this particular assay technology.
