Introduction to Instructional Theory, Models, and Design (TTT)

Format: Workshop

Course Completion: Full attendance is required to receive credit for this workshop course.

Purpose:  To introduce foundational adult learning theories, models, and design principles for the development of training. 

Objective(s):

•Distinguish between instructional theory, models and design for training development.
•Compare and contrast  andragogy and pedagogy in training.
•Review Learning Models: (Gagne’s 9 Events of Instruction, ADDIE, Action Mapping, & Kirkpatrick Model) for training development & assessment.
•Recognize the value of training models in developing a training process.
