This course covers 5-membered aromatic heterocycles with one and two heteroatoms, namely: furan, pyrrole, thiophene, imidazole, pyrazole, oxazoles and thiazoles. It further covers synthesis and reactivity of the 5-membered aromatic heterocycles.
