• Recognize types of documentation and identify proper corrective processes.
• Review types of feed available for laboratory animals and recall basic food and water requirements.
• Recognize basic animal room check procedures.
• Review the cage change process and identify animal welfare concerns for changing cages.
• Recognize various animal identification methods 

As the Charles River company supports many locations, some processes may be performed differently than presented here.  Your site Supervisor will review those items with you and answer any questions that you may have.  

Intended audience: Learners assigned the role of cage wash technician role. Also, may benefit animal care takers and technician which may assist with cage wash roles.
