This module covers the following:

• Discuss the basic differences between regulatory policies in animal transportation.
• Define the requirements necessary for animal procurement.
• Describe the process for assessing the animal's health during procurement.
• Define quarantine and conditioning periods.

As the Charles River company supports many locations, some processes may be performed differently than presented here.  Your site Supervisor will review those items with you and answer any questions that you may have.
