The American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) recently updated several courses within the Laboratory Animal Research Support (LARS) certificate program.  As a result, a new program is being released for currently enrolled learners and those wishing to enroll.

The specific courses update dare noted below.

• LAT 02: Policies and Guidelines and Regulations in Animal Research
• LAT 03: Ethics in Animal Research

All learners who have previously completed the certificate program will no be required to complete these courses.  Any learners who are in process of completion or any new enrollees will be required to complete these courses beginning 25JUL2021.
