This course is required for anyone working with non-human primates (NHPs) or their unfixed tissues at the Charles River DSA Ashland (ASH) facility. The purpose of this training is to learn about NHP zoonotic diseases and safe handling methods of NHPs. Importantly, the course provides the procedures in BOP EHS 109 following an NHP exposure.
