Environmental Standards

The aims of this course are:

  • Identify the environmental standards to be monitored in an animal facility.
  • Recognize problems and solutions with environmental variables in an animal facility.
  • Understand the impact that environmental variables have on animal well being and welfare.

  • Environmental parameters (Temperature, Hygrometry, Ventilation, Light cycles, Noise and vibration, Odors): standards and impacts
  • Knowledge assessment
